Bio: Stanley Tucci grew up in Katonah, New York where he attended John Jay High School. He began to take an interest in acting there, becoming an active member of the school's drama club and eventually graduated from the State University of New York's Conservatory of Theatre arts in Purchase.He began his professional career on the stage, making his Broadway debut in 1982, and then appeared in his first movie in 1985 when he played a soldier in Prizzi's Honor (1985).And he doesn't appear to have been out of work since, appearing in movies and landing several recurring roles on US TV series to become a well respected character actor, garnering an impressive array of awards and nominations.
